Job Description:
Evaluates, plans, treats and implements care for patients in the areas of speech, language, cognition and swallowing accordance with professional standards of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) using any established Clinical Practice Guidelines .
Education Qualifications:
Master's degree from accredited speech and language pathology program.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current registration/license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of practice.
Moose Lake:
Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency. Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer. Proof of current motor vehicle insurance.
This is a 0.6 FTE position (24 hours a week). This SLP will treat adult and pediatric patients in a hospital, clinic and home health settings in both Moose Lake, MN and Sandstone, MN. There is a weekend rotation (1-2 per year) when holidays create a 3-day weekend. There is no call.
Ideal candidate would have completed their Fellowship year (CFY); however, CFY's may apply at this time as well.
