Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 to support retail food operations at multiple sites within the Appalachian Regional Health (ARH) System located in Kentucky and West Virginia . The ideal candidate should have a background in retail-food service and be willing to travel including some overnight stay in cities within the ARH System .

The successful candidate will:

  • manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies;

  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

  • oversee cash handing processes, and POS programming and maintenance;

  • ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed;

  • conduct retail brand standard audits (in-house and national brands);

  • maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards (national and in-house brands);

  • ensure all needed signage (including digital) is in place;

  • manage vendor relationships and compliance; and/or

maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place.

  • demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC), Sodexo Menu Graphics (SMG), Catetrax and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This does not apply to external candidates.

  • have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;

  • possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;

  • exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or

demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
