Each of our Golden Corral restaurants performs optimally with a Management Team consisting of a General Manager and 4 to 6 Managers per location. During the first 7 weeks you'll get hands on training in all the departments of our restaurant and come away with a solid understanding of the Co-Worker positions in our restaurants, (including baker, meat-cutter, grill cook, hot cook, food prep, server, and cashier). The next 6 weeks is spent mastering the management processes and procedures (such as scheduling, ordering, inventory, and all the front line and office tasks) so that you'll be able to hit the ground running and become part of the management team as soon as you are assigned to your home restaurant.Requirements: Stable work history along with management experience in casual, quick serve, or institutional dining. Successful completion Golden Corral's comprehensive management training program (up to 14 weeks) Position requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Physical Requirements:Position requires standing and walking 4 to 5 hours without a rest break. Regular, moderate-to-heavy (2-50 lbs.) lifting and carrying; bending and reaching may be required. Work environment requires the use of tools such as heaters, tongs, skillets and spatulas and a forceful grip is required for the use of these tools. Work setting is within the restaurant with employee exposed to temperature extremes. Pushing and pulling is required for cleaning responsibilities, as needed.
