Job Summary
This position will be a year-round part time position. Supply Chain/Warehouse interns will tackle numerous challenges that the industry is facing today - network complexity, consumer demands driving the need for speed and quality, and an ever-increasingly volatile supply chain. With a continuous focus on optimizing our customer experience, interns will help us drive fulfillment efficiency - focusing on capacity planning, inventory placement, backlog management, and resolving operational queries. This position will be located primarily at North Anna Power Station.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
In this position you'll have the opportunity to learn to lead, motivate and influence a team, experience creating business strategies and goals, gain experience in problem solving and resolution, and knowledge of utility supply chain fundamentals. This role will help the individual develop a strong network of colleagues in diverse roles across multiple departments such as planning, maintenance, operations, engineering, project management, and more.
The ideal candidate will be ready to roll up their sleeves and bring their passion for Supply Chain into a fast-paced, innovative learning environment. This individual should bring energy every day and be eager to work collaboratively and provide ideas of process improvement.

- Support a variety of supply chain areas including logistics, packaging and warehousing, procurement and data management.
- Monitors metrics, conducts root cause analysis and takes corrective actions to address supply chain issues and movement issues.
- Assists in resolution of issues related to supply, carrier, ordering and other supply chain issues.
- Responsible for compiling raw input, historical data, and trend information for further refinement.
- Uses project management tools to solve problems and researches and analyze business processes and provides input and collaborates on improvements that will help support overall end-to-end business processes.
- Proficiency at learning new technologies a plus, and assisting in implementing new technology for warehouse/supply chain process improvement.
- Assisting with implementing new warehouse sustainability ideas.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, preferably concentrating in Supply Chain, Purchasing and/or Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science or related field.
Graduating Spring or Fall 2023 or 2024.
Preferred GPA of 3.00 or higher.
