Technical Lead, TF-50 Campaign - Level 5
ADP I&D is seeking an experienced individual technical lead to represent TF-50 campaigns and support existing executing TF-50 programs. This person will report to the ADP I&D fighter campaigns senior manager.
What You Will Be Doing
The successful candidate will have a background of FMS and DCS new business capture, technical program execution, engineering acumen, and risk management experience. This role is responsible for the following:
- Serves as technical lead for TF-50 campaigns defining air system configurations for customers seeking new production aircraft, upgrades, and derivatives of Integrated Fighter Group platforms, including the F-16 and T-50/FA-50. Collaborates among multiple engineering functions to drive successful platform-level integration efforts
- Supports the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Strategy and Business Development (ASBD) campaigns lead as required to guide configuration development, risk mitigation, proposal development, and pricing
- Manages aspects of executing TF-50 programs to enhance understanding of impacts and influences upon new business campaigns. Documents TF-50 technical configuration content in accessible knowledge sharing formats.
- Works in close coordination with IFG Aeronautics Strategy and Business Development, IFG Capture PMs, Proposal Development, and Engineering and Technology performing teams to envision and price aircraft system and software changes, associated test programs, and sustainment elements for the proposed program that meets customer requirements
- Creates documentation of the proposed configuration in the form of summary overview (bubble chart) and configuration matrix to highlight changes from feed-down configuration
- Supports development of campaign Program Summary Master Schedule, Proposal Processing Directive (PPD), Statement of Work (SOW), System Requirements Document (SRD), and other campaign technical documents
- Prepares and briefs proposed technical configurations including system capabilities and features to customer groups such as fighter selection committees
- Working with the Technology Roadmap team and the program team, manages execution of NBF research and development and Contracted Research and Development (CRAD) projects to transition technology to fighter aircraft
- Develops collaborative business relationships with customer program offices, service requirements staff, Government research teams, and industry/supplier partners
- Is accountable for meeting proposal development schedule commitments in a highly dynamic campaign environment
- Cross trains with ADP I&D campaign technical leads across the fighter aircraft portfolio; receives content about F-16 and F-35 and shares content about TF-50.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Aerospace Engineering & Technology or Program Management experience or Program Planning and Execution during a few phases of program lifecycles
- Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to tailor content details for the target audience
- Confident presenter with ability to address customer questions or commit to a future response, and follow-through
- Proven contributor in a team environment, sharing responsibilities and volunteering to take the lead on technical tasks
- Existing TF-50 engineering exposure/experience
- Working knowledge of the LM Aero Risk Management process
- Experience working with international customers and sensitivity to cultural diversity
- Experience with fighter aircraft engineering configuration and systems
- Strong problem solving abilities to resolve emerging issues with innovative, effective, and efficient solutions
- Resourceful (Strong Personal Network)
- Excellent rapport with customers and strong working relationships with other functions and programs
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, 1-2 trips per quarter - sometimes with limited notice
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
