As an LA&C store designer, you will support our Design team by creating stunning store designs that uphold the Starbucks Experience for Partners and Customers, while giving the stores an approachable, local flavor. You will be involved in all phases of the design process, from pre-schematic to opening; taking into account budget, market capabilities, and cross-functional/licensee requirements. Working in accordance with our Starbucks Mission & Values is paramount, as the relationships we build are the foundation of how our stores show up in our markets.
As a Store Designer, you will...
- Contribute to overall regional goals by achieving target deliverables and designing stores within the parameters of budget and market requirements with alignment from cross-functional teams
- Develop design documentation to support the design intent through the lens of regional capabilities and guidelines. This includes test fits, schematic drawings, design development drawings, and any additional support required throughout construction (answering RFIs, communicating with suppliers/vendors, etc).
- Manages project schedules with alignment from cross-functional and licensee teams. Communicates dates to project team and meets all established deadlines. Willing to travel and conducts site visits as needed.
We'd love to hear from people with:
- 5-7 years of CAD drafting (Revit, AutoCAD & SketchUp)
- 5-7 years of retail/ restaurant design and managing consultants
- Minimum 1 year of Project Management experience
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Knowledge of architectural details and specifications for Design Development production
- Ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines
