We are a team within Apple's Worldwide Sales organization, Data Solutions & Initiatives (DSI) - experts in product design, engineering, and portfolio management. We are looking for a world-class Product Manager to join our product management team. This is an opportunity drive the growth of one of our global initiatives and launch ground-breaking new features in support of Apple's multi-billion dollar sales and investment strategy.
Description
This role will chart the strategic direction of one of our products and support execution against that long-term strategy. You will partner directly with Product Design, Engineering, Quality and Support teams, in addition to multiple cross-functional teams across Apple, to define and deliver on a multi-year product roadmap. This candidate will need to excel in strategic planning, product execution and operational efficiency. A successful fit will have a demonstrated history of managing technical product initiatives through efficient feature prioritization and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and cross-functional stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: - Lead and evangelize the vision for a comprehensive product strategy for one of our products, unlocking new insights and capabilities through the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable data points - Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and beyond, including product strategy, road mapping, feature definition, and go-live strategy - Conduct extensive market research & analyze industry trends to drive product decisions - Create and deliver presentations to executive leadership, outlining the vision and roadmap of the product - Facilitate communications with Worldwide partners across various Sales and Finance teams to understand their goals and challenges, and translate them into requirements - Spearhead prioritization - Collaborate with program management to communicate project status, resolve issues, align with department standards and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time - Ability to work in an agile team with a 'hands-on' approach, including testing and debugging of the product's features International travel may be required (<10%).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant field required
Typically 8+ years of experience in product management of high-visibility products
Proven track record of managing product development lifecycles, building complex products with various cross functional partners
Hands-on experience in applying data analytics in sales, finance, supply chain or demand management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

MBA or Master's degree in relevant field preferred
Experience in leading and influencing various cross-functional teams and external partnerships to drive decisions and outcomes
Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to continually innovate and improve the product
Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem solving skills, and the ability to assimilate and learn complex processes in a changing and dynamic work environment on a steep learning curve
Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization, with the ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience, including Senior Executives and Technology Leaders
Work experience in sales, finance or business development teams with exposure to sales finance, pricing or supply chain processes and strategies, including demand generation, pricing, sales scenario planning and sales forecasting
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud & AI/ML frameworks

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
