A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Assistant:
As a Liberty Military Housing Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for monitoring and organizing the maintenance warehouse and inventory. Your role requires accuracy, the ability work efficiently and effectively, and the ability to deliver on our mission of providing exemplary service in accordance with Liberty Military Housing's quality customer satisfaction standards.
Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Compliance with all company guidelines, OSHA regulations and any applicable laws in your area regarding health, safety, or environment.
Receive maintenance inventory from multiple suppliers and distribute materials on a daily basis.
Work with multiple budgets, monitoring expenditures and implement corrective actions.
Organize and properly stock warehouse with materials needed for multiple locations.
Maintain overall physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new layouts and conducting warehouse inspections.
Assist with managing warranty repairs/replacements from multiple suppliers.
Assist with managing recycling, universal and hazard waste collected on site.
What You Need for Success:
A high school education or equivalent is required (college hours preferred).
Warehouse experience preferred.
Must be able to lift 80-100 lbs on a regular basis.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must have a level of proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (MS Word), and inventory software.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be knowledgeable in OSHA regulations.
Must be willing to work evenings or weekends in the case of an emergency.
Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities.
