Technology Specialist

Virtual India

The Technology Manager will be working with clients building exceptional websites and apps, and with the internal team on the operational management of the client technology. They should have an eye for detail, creative mindset, strong communication skills and solid design.

They will work on a variety of projects that will challenge their communication skills, decision making ability, coding skills and creativity.

Your responsibilities:

Web Build and Accuracy

  • Design and build websites that provide an exceptional user experience and provide efficient backend management and reporting.

  • Ability to write, contribute and/or proof website copy.

    Project Management

Create and manage to website timeline to ensure information is collected and action steps are taken to meet deadlines with client and internal team.

Customer Service and Consultation

  • Responsible for working directly with internal and external clients to determine requirements, process flow, system capabilities, design and provide overall consultation.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with client contacts to ensure repeat and new business.

    Technology Focused

  • Keep up to date on enhancements to all internally used technologies.

  • Keep abreast of new technologies that can enhance the process, design or manageability of development and maintenance.

    Problem Solve

  • Work with operations team to troubleshoot registration issues and answer any questions clients/internal team may have while managing the day to day registration of the program.

We're looking for you if your profile matches the following:

  • 1 plus years of registration management or comparable experience required (i.e. event registration, administrative, etc.)

  • Hands on experience with HTML and CSS.

  • 1 plus years hands on experience building websites utilizing various web design technologies (Dreamweaver and Photoshop).

  • Bachelor degree must

  • Knowledge of JavaScript will be added advantage

  • Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies, design methodologies and web development languages and standards.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong design, writing and problem solving skills

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios

  • Capability of thinking innovatively, strategically, and conceptually

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)

  • Hands on experience with web development in Cvent registration technology and awareness of delegate management technology

  • Technical Cvent experience - ideally in configuring the various modules and being able to consult/recommend best practices.

  • Experience with website design within Cvent.

  • Experience with any other meeting technology is a bonus.

  • Candidate shall need to be able to be client facing and be comfortable with presenting and working globally.
