Performs a variety of duties to establish and maintain an infrastructure for the development and management of patient education materials. Provides project management and consultative services to ensure system goals for development of patient education programs are met. Responsibilities include: Ensuring that all patient education materials are properly indexed; working with IS/Epic Team to develop a system to access patient education materials on line; collaborating with multidisciplinary patient education teams to draft policies, procedures and new patient education materials; developing and implementing written guidelines for creating patient education materials; and writing and editing patient education materials to ensure comprehensive and patient-centered material. Work Experience: Experience in health education. Experience working with clinical caregivers as a patient education expert, consultant, and project manager.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in education, health education, or other health related field.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

No certification/licensure required.
