Material Handler - 1st Shift

Our client in Kaukauna, WI is looking for hard working individuals to work in a steel production environment! We are seeking an experienced material handler

(forklift operator experience is helpful), in a steel production / manufacturing environment. Under general supervision, associates will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to sit down and stand up forklifts, stand up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallets jacks, double pallet jacks, and radio equipment.

What is the job?

  • Using forklift trucks to move product between warehouse areas

  • Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner.

  • Move product to storage areas with proper equipment.

  • Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area.

  • Pick Orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.

  • Check and Count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.

What do you bring to the job?

  • Experience and love of working in a fast paced environment

  • 6 months warehouse/Forklift

  • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds

  • Steel toe safety boots

  • Ability to commit to full time hours
