SAIC is seeking an Intel Analyst Chief supporting the Army National Guard, providing support to G2 and the Army Intelligence and Security enterprise (AISE) at the Herbert R. Temple Army Readiness Center (TARC) in Arlington, VA .

This is an onsite position supporting the government customer.

Job Duties:

  • Provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to ARNG G2.

  • Think strategically in support of Army and Military Intelligence Modernization strategies, while executing tactically in support of daily activities and operations within ARNG G2.

  • Interact with command leadership to prepare and brief accurate products in a timely and succinct manner. Prepare Point Papers, Issue Papers, PowerPoint briefing slides, organizational charts, manpower spreadsheets and comprehensive staff packages.

  • Plan and facilitate execution of strategic organizational and manpower activities in support of a joint military command and its geographically separated subordinate commands.

  • Conduct organizational studies and evaluations.

  • Conduct support and participate in forums at the TS/SCI level on Secure VTCs, SIPR/JWICS networks and other forums where classified discussions are required in support of planning collaboration, briefings support, senior leader engagements and other required activities

  • Liaise with higher headquarters combatant command, to ensure organizational actions are properly communicated, coordinated, accurate and timely.

  • Perform short and long-term strategic planning and forecasting, requirements determination reviews, Force Development analysis, improve current processes and change management.

  • Interact effectively and positively with senior Army and senior Army Intelligence leadership.

  • Implement concept development and requirements analysis.

  • Design systems and procedures and conduct work simplification and measurement studies.

  • Manage risk and support positive customer relationships.

  • Work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends and take decisive action to create mission-critical products and materials.

  • Resourceful self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills with excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and detailed-oriented.

  • Travel up to 25%

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's and fourteen (14) years or more of experience; Master's and twelve (12) or more years of experience.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (US Citizenship required).

Required Skills:

  • 15+ years of Army Military Intelligence experience.

  • Army or Army National Guard Military Intelligence experience only.

  • 4+ years' experience at a Joint and other Major Command (MACOM).

  • 2+ years' experience with Programming, Planning and Budgeting actions.

  • 2+ years' experience at the Department of the Army Staff.

  • 1+ years' experience as a Senior Intelligence Officer for a forward deployment organization in a combat zone a plus.

  • 2+ years' experience overseeing development and implementation of policies and plans for manning, equipping, training, readiness and resourcing for Intelligence Soldiers and formations.

  • Executive level verbal and written communications skills. Ability to brief and inform decisions at the General Officer/Senior Executive levels.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.

  • Detail oriented self-starter.
