The Radiation Therapist performs a variety of technical procedures involving the use of high-energy radiation producing equipment. Responsible for administering, simulating and recording radiation treatments to patients of all ages as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist while maintaining confidentiality. Provides daily patient contact for monitoring the effects of radiation. This is a flex position that works between 24-40 hours per week (0.6+ FTE).

Education Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved radiation therapist program.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

  • Ability to be ARRT certified within 90 days OR ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.

  • Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, registered in Radiation Therapy.

  • Valid state credentialing, if applicable.

  • Current CPR certification.

  • NDMIRTB required upon hire.
