Job Description:
Provides a variety of services and high level of support designed to apply computer technology to solve highly complex clinical, financial, and patient data problems of the organization along with successful development, implementation, and presentation of educational programs for end users. Responsibilities include evaluating needs; developing models, specifications, and logic diagrams; customizing package programs and developing new applications/programs; implementing and installing new programs and systems; providing support to user departments on a wide variety of systems; planning and implementing technology learning programs; and assessing users during technology learning programs for successful compentence. May serve as project leaders for new/modified system projects. Provides technical advice and training to other system professionals and users. Works under minimal supervision.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Services, Business, Healthcare or related field of study plus five years of experience in Information Services, Business Services, Healthcare or related field OR Associates degree and 7 years of experience in Information Services, Business Services or Healthcare OR 9 years of experience in Information Services, Business Services or Healthcare.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
No certification/licensure required.
