We are looking for a Pack Lead - 3rd Shift (Sunday - Friday: 11:00pm - 7:30am). This position will be based at 101 Airport Industrial Drive | Southaven, MS 38671 (Memphis Distribution Center)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Leadership: You will be responsible for leading a team of production workers, ensuring their adherence to safety protocols, and providing guidance and support as needed. This includes assigning tasks and monitoring production.

  • Production Planning and Scheduling: You will work closely with the supervisor to develop and implement production plans, ensuring that production targets and deadlines are met. This involves coordinating resources, equipment, and materials to optimize productivity and efficiency.

  • Quality Control: You will be responsible for maintaining high quality standards throughout the production process. This includes conducting regular inspections, addressing any quality issues or deviations, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

  • Continuous Improvement: You will actively participate in identifying areas for improvement in the production process, recommending and implementing process enhancements, and driving productivity and efficiency initiatives.

  • Training and Development: You will provide training and development opportunities to your team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. This includes cross-training employees and promoting a culture of continuous learning.

  • Health and Safety: You will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment for all employees. This includes enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety inspections, and addressing any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Able to work 3rd Shift: Sunday - Friday: 11:00pm - 7:30am.

  • A high school diploma/GED or equivalent years of relevant experience.

  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role within a distribution center or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and production planning tools.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

  • The hourly pay rate for this role starts at $18.50 + .75 shift differential. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
