JOB SUMMARY
Provide financial expertise and direction to support the director and senior management in achieving the financial goals of the company. This position is responsible for a variety of functional areas including, but not limited to, production of actual versus forecast reporting, competitor analysis, forecast and budget data, production of board level reporting, and daily liquidity model. In this role, you will work directly with various departments to identify opportunities, develop business cases, forecast financial performance, monitor operating expenditures, and be a key financial partner in driving analytical support for senior leadership. A successful candidate will have to gain an understanding of the business and key processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the forecasting and planning processes, working cross-functionally across corporate departments and business units.
Responsible for preparation of high quality and timely consolidation of financial plans, statements, and ad hoc analysis that report results/forecasts from an internal perspective.
Support integrated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow modeling to support annual and longer-term planning for valuations, banks, and other strategic scenario analysis.
Work with finance and business users to determine and provide the metrics, reports, and analyses needed to manage and act on the business.
Perform various ad hoc analyses to help business leaders solve business problems and understand the financial implications.
Perform financial modeling related to capital expenditures.
Proactively follow peer landscape (public filings, analyst presentations & topical industry trends) and make recommendations regarding peer/industry movements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Five (5) years of relevant, progressive finance/accounting experience.
Experience using MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated problem solving, quantitative analysis, and analytical abilities.
Strong attention to detail and highly analytical
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced skills with Excel, macros, PowerBI, and/or Hyperion
Interpersonal, leadership and collaboration skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
Ability to develop innovative ideas and create solutions.
Four (4) years of experience in a Finance role.
Experience in the transportation
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs. of supplies and materials is required.
