The Analyst plays an integral role in the Strategic Policy and Planning team's mandate to connect business goals with public policy. The candidate builds a deep understanding of our technology, new businesses, and 5G use cases, to anticipate public policy opportunities and challenges. The candidate has a talent for crisp communication, especially creating presentations and research at the intersection of public policy and tech/telecom. Experience with public policy advocacy campaigns and the creation of communications collateral is strongly preferred, and familiarity with the telecommunications industry and its policy issues is preferred.
What you'll do in your role.
Collect and analyze data regarding critical company businesses
Research and analyze public policy opportunities and challenges
Originate presentations of Strategic Policy group's findings and recommendations
Communicate with colleagues in Government Affairs, Legal, and other groups in company about key initiatives
Foster relationships with key cross-functional partners and internal stakeholders; establish strong partnerships to obtain desired results.
Provides team consulting support on complex tasks.
Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

B.A. or equivalent preferred
Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
Any one or more of the following:
2-4 years working in the Telecommunications industry is preferred
2-4 years presenting complex findings and data is preferred
2-4 years working on public policy advocacy campaigns is preferred
2-4 years creating communication collateral is preferred
