The Opportunity:

You will provide technical support services for daily operation and patching of Standard Procurement System/PD2 contract writing application, including maintenance and integration into the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) end-to-end solution; and ensure the application remains operational and available to the contracting community.

This opportunity allows for virtual support, but you must reside within two hours of Fort Belvoir, VA; Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL; Shriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO; or Naval Support Center Dahlgren, VA for routine on-site support.

Responsibilities:

As a SPS PD2 System Administrator you will serve as the Technical System Administrator of the SPS production, test and training databases and SPS Adapter.

  • You will perform maintenance and administrative activities and troubleshooting technical issues

  • Maintain user groups; run Sybase SQL scripts; perform database monitoring, backup and restore

  • Act as an authorized caller to the SPS CACI Helpdesk; coordinate with Government and CACI SMEs for troubleshooting

  • Attend and participate in technical workshops and calls; develop, document, and report SOPs, check lists, and help guides in support of stakeholders/end-users

  • Support current and future interfaces with FPDS-NG and various other end-to-end e-Business applications

  • Assist in installation, maintenance, and active technical administrator for the MDA's new contract writing system.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Advanced understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, and technical concepts

  • Minimum five (5) years related work experience

  • Security+ Certificate

  • PD2/Adapter experience

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
