The Radiology Intern, under the direction of the Manager of Radiology Services and the guidance of a Registered Radiologic Technologist, functions as a staff technologist within Radiology with the exceptions of contrast injecting and radiology operating room procedures. This is a student Radiology technologist position, (X-ray Operators License is required in the state of Minnesota) that is responsible for providing optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques during administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic and/or research in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population (ages 0 to death).
Education Qualifications:
Currently attending and enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program; working towards American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.
