Description
Reporting to a Region VP or District Manager, the District Sales Manager leads new customer development, service expansion, and generates FLF opportunities within district(s).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development (70- 80%)
Develops and leads the new business growth strategy in close consultation with District Manager(s) and RCDD in dealer and rental channel.
Partner with DM/MM to make joint sales calls prospecting and securing new customers and/or cross-selling additional services.
Identifies, develops, and implements win-win business agreements with customers to drive long-term results.
Develops and implements quarterly action plans for prospecting and cross selling into targeted accounts.
Supports local team priorities to drive revenue growth and new account acquisition.
Relationship Building (10-20%)
Establishes and maintains relationships with customers establishing him/herself as a key contact.
Leads efforts to grow revenue by building relationships with key personnel in targeted customers and selling additional services.
Develops, documents, and maintains a relationship plan for all prospective accounts, including client histories of all operated programs for quarterly review.
Arranges and participates in personal client visits individually and in coordination with other DW personnel.
Proactively identifies and resolves customer needs and problems with local management.
Stays up to date on current competitive activity and market trends.
Represents Dent Wizard at professional trade association meetings, client seminars, conventions, etc. as required.
Administrative (10%)
Perform pricing analysis with DM and RVP to ensure optimum financial results
Updates, manages, and supports the Region's sales pipeline
Creates and distributes weekly sales and activity reports to appropriate district/region personnel
Maintains a supply of up-to-date sales and marketing collateral
Required Qualifications
Automotive industry experience preferred
Proven track record of success in an intangible or service sales and/or business development role is required
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with customers
Outstanding sales, customer relations and organizational skills required
Proven background increasing revenues by successfully selling into new accounts
Position requires up to 70% travel
