We are looking for a passionate, inquisitive, articulate, and detail-oriented individual, who possesses exceptional interpersonal skills to join our onsite Quality Assurance team in US.
As aSr. Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible to defect slippage, schedule adherence for projects and programs. You will need to own requirement analysis, build and review test strategy & design and lead test execution for projects and scrum teams. You will also be required to define Test Data and Test environment management approach for systems under test.
Qualifications Basic
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years testing in both waterfall or Agile methodologies as tester.
- Strong hands-on experience in functional testing which includes but not limited to writing functional test cases, reviewing test cases, defect life cycle management, using any test management tool (better if it is Zephyr), using any agile tool (like Jira).
- Strong co-ordination, communication & reporting, analytical skills
- Candidates must have applied their knowledge of testing processes to own outcomes.
- 5 years of experience analyzing business/technical requirements and converting them to test requirements
- 5 years of experience building test strategy and test Design
- 5 years of experience in test execution analysis & reporting
- Create test analysis report for the assigned test scope
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Proven experience with global delivery models including handling onsite calls and coordination for large offshore teams.
- Implement specific activities of the Defect Prevention Plan
Mandatory Technical Skill
- At least 5 years' experience testing
- At least 3 years of experience with IT with Retail POS testing with emphasis on full transaction life cycle.
- Experience with Postgres SQL or mySQL
- Experience with Selenium with Java
Nice to Have Skill
- Experience with Jira, TFS, and Zephyr
- Experience with Postman
- Experience with SoapUI
