Recruiting Profile
Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Body Prep Manager to join our TEAM! As the Body Prep Manager, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as oversee production, assist in hiring employees, and maintain safety protocols.
Primary Objective
Plans, organizes, and manages body prep operations.
Major Function and Scope
Plans and oversees work to meet production and quality requirements while making effective use of labor, material, and equipment.
Directs associates to maintain operating efficiency.
Evaluates selection of new associates in hiring process.
Conducts training on new procedures and oversees new hire training.
Ensures operations are within specifications.
Establishes, maintains, and analyzes budgets, records, and other controls to keep costs at a minimum consistent with efficient operations.
Ensures safe and healthful working conditions and an organized work environment.
Coaches and reviews performance of direct reports.
Experience and Knowledge Required
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred. Requires knowledge of safety policy and procedures. Ability to read/write English. Basic computer literacy. Knowledge of ceramic manufacturing and quality standards preferred.
4 or more years of operations experience and 1 or more years supervisory experience.
Ceramic tile industry experience preferred.
Competencies
Core competencies include strong communication and listening skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, conflict resolution skills, and ability to analyze, plan and schedule.
