We are looking for a Senior Design RF Engineer to work with DoD/IC customers, and our Rapid Solutions team, to design, build, and test RF/Microwave systems & subsystems that will be used in systems ranging from Ground to Space. Successful candidates will have knowledge RF product design from concept through test. Our Engineers work to turn concepts into reality.
Produce design concepts and solutions for various RF systems
Produce and Review RF designs
Work with systems engineering to develop specification compliant designs
Generate subsystem/component level specifications from top level specifications
Assist in the management and oversight of RF related activities on site
8+yrs Experience in RF Design Engineering.
Strong background with designs such as Receiver/Exciters, RF Arrays, or Radar subsystems.
Ability to derive lower level specs from system performance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to lead small teams for RF systems and subsystem designs.
Expertise in at least one RF design area such as passive designs, LNAs, PAs, Mutli-Chip Modules, or Low Phase Noise Oscillators.
Experience with microwave simulators utilizing 3D or 2.5D solvers such as Momentum and CST.
Circuit design utilizing modern RF software (Genesys, MWO, or ADS).
Ability to bring new ideas & concepts to the Team and the Customer.
Bachelors degree minimum.
Design experience with systems ranging from HF to Ku Band.
Experience with Altium schematic capture and layout.
Experience in LEO system programs and design requirements.
Working knowledge of digital, mechanical, electrical disciplines to aide in design reviews.
