The Sr Technical Analyst will use Dev Ops practices and tools to analyze and deliver predictable and repeatable solution design artifacts that enable continuous solution delivery by domain DevOps teams. Should be aware of modern software development, integration and delivery practices using DevOps and Agile methodologies. Familiarity or hands on experience with micro-service based service architectures and their components.

Senior Analysts, Systems located in Bothell, WA will consult with business teams and assess business requirements, functional design, configuration, and development of systems, collaborating with other teams to create innovative end-to-end solutions.
What you'll do in your role.
Strategy
Participates in defining domain technical roadmaps with architecture and leadership.
Project Management
Takes ownership of functional scope analysis and detailed solution design of the processes/systems within domain for each project assigned. Partners across domain IT teams for alignment and impact analysis.
Proactively reviews domain for risk and mitigations before they become critical. Continually keeps stakeholders, management and project managers informed of team activities and work-plan status.
Leads issue resolution efforts to help eliminate or reduce scheduling or budget impacts.
Researches, identifies and drives improvements to project efficiency, speed and quality via cross-team synergies, methods, tools and staffing models.
Collaborate with business and IT partner teams to develop business capability and technology roadmaps, provides education on potential process and system solution options, and drives business/IT investigation of emerging strategic capabilities.
Facilitates sessions to solicit and document requirements (e.g. creation of user stories).
Technology and System
Translates business requests (Customer Journey's, EPIC's, or Business User Stories) into technical user stories, system diagrams, and low-level design documents. Includes identification and assessment of potential data sources.
Leads analysis and translation of business, information, and technical requirements to achieve IT solutions that meet business need for projects with moderate complexity.
Relationship and People Management
Serves as mentor to assist less experienced peers.
Leads contractors and handles their day to day activities
Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design and analyse internal and external business systems / applications, systems interfaces, databases, or business intelligence systems by using the technologies IBM Infosphere, IBM WebSphere Commerce, Java, Spring, REST, Microservices, Swagger, Deepio, SQL Server and Oracle.
Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements.
Lead moderately complex eCommerce projects, often mentoring and providing guidance to team members, and work directly with marketing, product managers, development, testing and customer delivery related to the offer/project.
Translate business requirements into process, system impacts, and functional requirements; as well as identifying and assessing potential data sources.
Facilitate / lead reviews (walkthroughs) of technical specifications and program code with other members of the technical team, communicating design, requirements, feature set, functionality and limitations of systems applications to team and development lead.
Ensure stakeholders, management, and project managers are fully informed of project risks, team activities, and project status.
Provide technical requirements to enhance the application to automate and operational new requirements into the core application.
Test the application requirements that are developed, work with cross functional teams and signoff on objects developed as per requirements and ensure that signoff is handed to the application by the project or offer team by the cross functional teams on the project after the requirement are fulfilled.
Develop application support documentation as required by the application support teams for acceptance of systems changes into production.
Collaborate/Partner with other teams including Enterprise Testing, Release Planning and Management, Product managers, Business Systems Analysis, Project Management, and Application Support on successful delivery of product enhancements and support.

Highly preferred skills:
Producing system design specification and business requirements specification documents for mobile communications devices and accessories in customer facing catalogs in order to launch new products and services across multiple business units.
Proficiency in Catalog Configuration using one or more tools (like MDM, WCS, Oracle etc) to launch new mobile communications devices, accessories, products, and services across various assisted and non-assisted channels.
Utilizing Scrum and Agile (DevOps) methodology to deliver new marketing initiatives, including preparing detailed work flow, activity, and sequence diagrams, and outlining systems capabilities and processes.
Writing queries in logical and physical databases using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
Utilizing Confluence, Rally, and JIRA. (2 of the 3)
Education and experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. In lieu of degree, equivalent industry experience may be considered.
4 years of experience relative experience.
At least 18 years of age
