The Director of Nursing Student Resources is responsible for assisting campuses in planning, implementing and executing the Total Testing System. The Director of Nursing Student Resources assists with training faculty and staff on systems utilized for tracking and communicating student progress throughout the program. The Director of Nursing Student Resources identifies at risk students via the Total Testing System and collaborates with the Directors of Nursing to create and implement student remediation plans.
Responsibilities
- Assist Director of Nursing in setting up systems and structure to monitor each student's progress throughout the program. - Works closely with Directors of Nursing to ensure quality of standards are being met to achieve an NCLEX pass rate at or above State Requirements and National averages. - Assist Directors of Nursing to achieve 85% graduation rates and 90% placement rates. - Review student progress at the end of each term with Campus President and Director of Nursing. - Responsible for training and implementing Total Testing System processes. - Identify at risk students and collaborate with Directors of Nursing to create and implement remediation. - Ensure systems and structure are in place for new program rollout. - Ensure programs are utilizing Simulation throughout the curriculum. - Perform other appropriate duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.- 3- 5 years of managerial experience in a for-profit school environment.- 2-3 years of project management experience preferred.- Any equivalent combination of education and experience.Skills/Abilities:- Ability to prioritize, make decisions and execute.- Effective problem-solving, time management and organizational skills.- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.- The ability to utilize sound and proven project management methodology (processes, best practices, tools).- Ability to set, communicate and maintain priorities.- High energy, entrepreneurial self-starter with track record of achieving challenging goals.- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.- Must be willing to travel frequently.
