Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Insulators for projects located in and around Atlantic Beach, FL . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $24/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Install Pre-Formed Pipe Covering on Various Piping Systems
Perform Layout and Installation of Bulkhead, Overhead
Ventilation Ducting Insulation
Take Measurements and Fabricate Portable Pads for Various Valves, Fittings, and Tanks
Apply Final Coating, Mastic Cement, etc. to Insulating Materials to Provide Finished Product
Install Sheet Insulation Boards to Bulkheads and Overheads after Preliminary Preparation has been accomplished
Layout and Positioning of Studs
Remove Existing Insulation from Machinery, Piping Systems, Boilers, and Bulkheads and Overhead Compartments, Heating and Air Conditioning Systems
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
5+ Years of Marine Insulation Experience
Must have Experience with Basic Hand Tools, Pliers, Saw Snips, etc.
Must be able to Read Standard Measuring Tape and/or Ruler
Familiarity with Shipboard
Must be able to Obtain Security Clearance
Reliable Transportation
Must be able to Work on Vessels, Climb Ladders, Work in Confined Spaces, etc.
Must have All Standard PPE & Tools
Must be able to Work Weekend, Evening Hours
Ability to Lift Upwards of 50lbs
