FACILITIES OPERATIONS ENGINEER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop tools to analyze delivery, capacity, and cost challenges for facilities operations in order to guide decisions
Identify operational issues within the organization, determine root cause, and develop appropriate solutions
Develop and track key performance measures for operational measurement and improvement, using software tools such as Microsoft Excel, JIRA, and Power BI
Create reports and maintain regular reporting rhythms with leadership teams
Develop system and process improvements within and between facilities groups
Maintain accurate information and coordinate space planning decisions within and between campuses in Archibus
Collaborate with cross-functional partners in supply chain, engineering, operations, and accounting groups to synchronize efforts
Capture best practices, and manage organizational knowledge
Lead multiple concurrent projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
2+ years of operations/process improvement experience or experience with Excel, SQL, Python, or R
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing, supply chain, or production environment
Proficiency with statistics, data analysis, data visualization, and cost benefit analysis
Experience with CAD software, Archibus, Power BI, and JIRA
Familiarity with inventory, production, and capacity planning (including MRP/ERP systems)
Experience with lean, six sigma, and other related production principles
Experience or education in management science and engineering, operations engineering, operations research, or industrial engineering
Experience as a contributor to multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and communication skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
Must be able to travel up to 15%
