*JOB PURPOSE-* Performs Receptionist and Telephone Operator duties by relaying incoming and inter-office calls appropriately using a computer based phone system. Handles incoming and outgoing messenger services. Greets guests, adhere to security policy to ensure visitors are escorted by an employee. Sorts and distributes reports or mail. *ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-* * Greats all visitors courteously, determine their needs and direct them to the proper person and/or office. * Receives and sorts incoming deliveries from courier services and handles outgoing items. * Using computer based system that requires data entry to navigate incoming calls and transfers. * Answers various phone calls from within the company and external. * Direct incoming calls accordingly. * Ensure guests are escorted by an employee. * Performs administrative duties as assigned, including but not limited to filing, data entry, creating shipping label, making labels and sorting of documents. * Using PA system to page employees as needed. * Comply with all security practices. *ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES-* * Assists other departments as requested or assigned * Assignments will require data entry and computer use. * Arriving to work on time * Filing * Performs other related duties as required. *SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES-* * No. *JOB REQUIREMENTS-* * Computer skills: Emails, Word, Excel, Google Docs * Ability to effectively deal with visitors/customers in person or on the telephone. * Excellent communication skills. * Excellent follow up skills. * Ability to work independently. *JOB QUALIFICATIONS-* * Previous general office/receptionist experience.
