Job summaryDo you have experience working at a fast paced, high growth technology company?Do you have experience working in a high performing Partner Success, Solutions or Business Development team?At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're looking for a Partner Development Manager, Telco to join a team whose primary focus is to work with Telecom Customers who are looking to expand their revenue streams leveraging the benefits of the cloud.Ideal candidates will need to be able to help create innovative Joint Go-To-Market solutions and strategies, develop data-driven insights about JGTM opportunities, work closely with AWS Partner Network, and be restless until those strategies become real. We expect everyone to be tenacious, scrappy, and wear many hats. You will confidently represent our team in front of leaders at all levels across the company, educate our teams and our customers on the benefits of partnering with the AWS Telco IBU (Industry Business Unit).We have an immediate opening for a Partner Development Manager, Telco supporting Telecom customers in our Telecommunications Business Unit. We are looking for an excellent candidate to develop Joint Go-to-Market solutions, create strategies, and build frameworks and governance models for our Telecom customers. In this role you will have the exciting opportunity to work with CSPs to develop a B2B AWS Cloud Practice, which includes over 200+ Amazon services, especially Direct Connect, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, AWS Private 5G, AWS Wavelength, Private MEC and many more cloud services.You will be expected to:* Help sell, manage, and drive joint engagements between Telecom customers and AWS* Work collaboratively with the AWS Partner Network team to drive differentiated partner soutions, pipeline, APN Program attainment, and sales collateral.* Work with Geo/Country-level Partner Management, Partner Success Management, AWS Telco Professional Services, and AWS Account Teams in a highly collaborative operating model to help develop pipeline specific sell-thru/sell-with activity* Drive C-level and field relationships (both internally and externally), establish and grow business and technical relationships, and manage interactions with the Telecom partner's B2B business unit* Understand the technical requirements of the CSP, and work closely with the internal development team to help guide the direction of product offerings* Work with AWS GTMS team to define high impact joint go-to-market solution offerings to achieve partner goals* Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions that drive customer value with Telco IBU customers* Have a deep understanding of the Telco B2B landscape, including sales, provisioning, training and support* Provide help during contract negotiations and at time, serve as a liaison to the legal group* Have a strong technical acumen, along with working knowledge of AWS products and solutions* Identify specific customer segments and industry sub-verticals to support Telco partner go-to-market strategies and assist with a joint value proposition for using AWS and partner services.We are looking for someone with the ability to Think Big, continuously raise the bar on Customer Obsession, and Deliver Results by growing our Telecom partner's cloud business with AWS.
