Overview
ECPI University is seeking an experienced customer service professional to assist in providing general information regarding educational programs to potential students, particularly in the Norfolk, VA area. This position will help promote ECPI University and focus on the Department of Defense Tuition Assistance Programs.

We would consider a remote position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Represent ECPI University and be able to provide information on the university's programs and processes
Serve as main contact and facilitator for Army Tuition Assistance and for other branches as required.
Assist students in understanding and submitting Tuition Assistance to their branch.
Work with other departments to ensure Tuition Assistance programs are in compliance with Dept of Defense standards and completed in a timely manner.
Have a thorough knowledge of ECPI's programs.
Have a thorough understanding and be able to explain aspects and use of the various chapters of the VA's GI Bill and military tuition assistance.
Be familiar with the different bases, commands, and opportunities within assigned geographic area and help assess/determine opportunities for student recruitment in the area.
Provide excellent customer service to all potential students through consistent and effective initial outreach and follow-up.
Help identify potential obstacles for new students and create solutions that will help lead to graduation.
Assist admissions team in achieving important goals.
Maintain the highest level of ethics through ensuring that there is 100% compliance to all areas of admissions.
Work closely with key departments to ensure the successful start of new students.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Associates Degree preferred
Prior Military Experience preferred
Must be able to receive access to military base installations. Clearance to enter naval bases required
Must submit to military installation background check to gain access.
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Effective computer skills as well as familiarity with efficient use of social media.
Ability to inspire potential students by presenting the University programs, culture and resources in energetic and ethical manner via the phone.
Previous experience working in an environment that highlighted relationship building as well as overall results.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently as well as part of a team.
Desire to learn and apply what you learn in your daily activities.
