CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a fast-paced counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) mission that makes a difference to the Army warfighter on a daily basis. Our contract approach is an integrated process for all efforts under contract: operational systems, requirements for development, development/test/integration/simulator infrastructure, and prototypes. In addition, there are shared HW and SW components with adjacent programs that are also managed and require coordination within the other programs and the E3I-T overall configuration. The position works closely with other systems engineers (SE), ops and field support, HW and SW developers, and adjacent programs. The position will require applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in the maintaining the configuration of multiple baselines and support to technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk. Configuration management/change management is also included in the scope of responsibility and will be performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Engages with the Government customer to groom/analyze/coordinate and board changes to the program baseline on a routine basis. Operational and mission critical changes to the baseline will be address as quickly as possible.

You will be responsible for working with stakeholders to develop Solutions and deliver new capabilities. You will define and communicate the vision and goals in alignment with the overall business strategy, collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, , to gather and document product requirements, user stories, and use cases. You will support multiple teams to maintain the configuration in a dynamic contract, across multiple programs.
You will be part of the SE team of fun and energized engineers and culture of sharing information amongst teammates working within a product family to field tactical SIGINT collection systems to the DoD.
Lead, manage, and author program documentation such as CDRLs, official minutes, to ensure they are of high quality and delivered on time.
Responsible for the decomposition of top level system customer needs to lower level technical requirements and work closely with development teams (hardware/software) to build, integrate, and test the system.
Lead, manage and groom backlogs at the portfolio level.
Execute configuration and change management, as applicable, to the product owner role and scope.
Maintain and groom roadmaps for various development teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements, participate in release/sprint planning, integration and testing.
Work with the customer, E3I architects, engineers, and scrum teams to update roadmaps and backlogs as the mission, processes, and system evolve.
Validate that the delivered product meets the defined acceptance criteria and fulfills customer needs, while improving speed of mission delivery aligned with DevSecOps automation
Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and delivery.
Continuously gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to enhance the product and ensure it remains competitive and relevant.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to make informed product decisions.
You'll Bring These Qualifications :
Two (2) to five (5)+ years of SE experience with a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
Current TS clearance and able to obtain SCI
Familiar with Jira and Confluence tool set
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Experience with the standard Systems Engineering -V- processes and lifecycle
Analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions
Knowledge of agile product management tools and practices
Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently and effectively manage daily activities
Familiarity with radio frequency (RF) systems and test equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, multimeter etc.)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with C-UAS and/or RF software and hardware systems
Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) software and hardware
Understanding of SDR (Software Defined Radio) systems
Experience developing UML/SysML models with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as a Cameo Systems Modeler Experience
Experience with test automation.
Experience with machine learning
Experience with SATCOM systems
Security+ or CISSP Certification

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$85,800 - $180,200
