As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will perform a variety of echocardiographic studies in the echo lab, patient care units, procedural units, or surgical setting for patients. You will provide measurement and image data to the Cardiologists for interpretation. You may also perform other cardiovascular tests as required by Essentia Health Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab.
Education Qualifications:
No educational requirements.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International. New hire sonographers must be registry eligible and become registered within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 1 month of hire or transfer.
Must have current license on North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire/transfer
