The Operations Manager position will be rewarding as you work on a team with us and a Government customer where we will be providing support on a large program that will directly impact the sustainment of analytic work orchestration capabilities while providing integration, governance, release train management, deployment, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), development of Orchestration Services, acceptance testing, and sustainment of new capabilities to the operational baseline.
You will provide oversight of a Government Customer's Orchestration Services operational systems sustainment and maintenance to maximize system availability and resiliency.
You will be accountable for maintaining the uptime and performance of the solution in accordance with the agreed-upon service level agreement (SLA). You will grow the relationship between us and the Government Customer, building trust and dependency.

Responsibilities:
Provide deep technical troubleshooting for escalated issues that involve the most technically complex or large-scale components and the affected users.
Develop and/or use troubleshooting, monitoring, and reporting tools to analyze the root cause of serious and impactful technical issues and build stable and sustainable solutions and improvements.
Work closely with customer care, escalation teams, product management, and engineering to seek solutions for customers and drive tasks toward completion.
Drive and improve the whole lifecycle of operational readiness - from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
Establish and ensure the continual monitoring by enterprise tools and organizations.
Direct and manage resources responsible for the resolution of discrepancies and other required maintenance activities.
Develop tools, operational improvements, and automated solutions that enable self-service configuration changes, speed deployments.
Coordinate and manage software problem analysis, modification, testing and deployment of application software including the integration of COTS and Open Source Software.

A Bachelor's and advanced degrees may be substituted for 2 years of experience each.
Possess system administration or operational expertise supporting complex systems of systems, applications, and services.
Ability to manage system operations and migration across current security domains and environments (Cloud, Data Center, and Desktop).
Minimum of 8 years of relevant system or software engineering experience.
Preferred:
Experience in geospatial information system development or sustainment is desired.

Senior - 8-12 yrs of experience
SME - 12+ yrs of experience
