Let's talk salary. The salary range for this position based on what we are asking you to do in the role starts at $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 based on qualifications. Still not convinced? Allow us to elaborate. For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motived, team-oriented Proposal Manager. This exciting position will have the chance to work closely with our Chief Business Officer and business development team. This includes assisting with developing strategies on ability to win, risk mitigation, scheduling, and pricing. The Proposal Manager also assists with assessing teaming options and partnerships. They will ensure all customer requests and requirements are fulfilled during the proposal process.
What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in Proposal Development and Management. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will assist the proposal development lifecycle which includes the development, planning, scheduling, and execution of proposals, and ensure all milestones are met. This person will analyze RFP packages and proposal requirements to develop proposal documents as well as assist with the development of strategic and technical narratives alongside our CBO. This person will schedule color teamed reviews, monitor progress to meet proposal deadlines, and prepare proposal kick off materials. Additionally, they will prepare documents and content that comply with company style, branding, and messaging. While the fun is in the past pace environment of proposal development, we cannot forget the preparations it takes to get to that point. The Proposal Manager will also track and monitor the progression of future opportunities and identify and assess teaming opportunities and partnerships. This includes the negotiation of NDAs and other teaming agreements.
Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
