Job Description:Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia is looking for a Sales Coordinator who can be a part of a dynamic team, connected with the Philadelphia market, loves helping a business grow and most importantly, is fun! You'll have the opportunity to assist the Sales & Events Team with building revenue while contributing to the overall team environment and positively impacting our operation as a whole. Successful people in this role will thrive in a non-traditional work environment, can easily and successfully transition from one task to another, have a strong work ethic and understand the importance of their contribution to making the team successful. Reports directly to the Director of Sales & Events.
Responsibilities:- Assist Sales & Events Dept in the preparation of event & facility agreements, addendum's, and related correspondence; assist in the creation and internal distribution of Special Events Orders reviews documents for completeness and accuracy; assists in following up with clients regarding deposits, insurance, and other related license agreements- Provides administrative support through various office duties such as answering the phone, responding to client questions, communicating event details to clients, managing calendars, and scheduling site visits- Responsible for booking non-DMC groups between 1 and 30 guests, as well as organizing online lane sales through ticketweb- Network, research, and manage client data base to create new business opportunities- Assist in execution of sales and marketing campaigns- Coordinates operational set up and break down of events (equipment/rental needs, station set up)- Assist Sales & Events Dept. as requested with special needs by the client- Attend weekly Operations Meeting and SEO Meeting with culinary team- Attend Event Pre Shift with Ops Mgrs. and communicate event specifics at daily pre shift- Pre build BEOs and SEOs in internal systems before events- Execute admission tickets and retail requests for Special Events- Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, Sales Coordinator may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the venue. Work schedule will be event-driven and will include evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:- Minimum 2 years of sales and/or event execution experience (restaurant experience a plus)- Excellent communication skills- Ability to deal with difficult clients while maintaining professionalism- Strong ability to multitask- Strong organizational and priority setting skills- Experience in sales tracking software (Salesforce/Delphi experience a plus)- Proficient in all Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Outlook- Ability to work in a fast paced environment- Any and all aspects of this job can expand at any time so candidates should be flexible and open to change within their market and job duties
Compensation:Base salary and incentives will be commensurate with experience.
