Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Iron Workers for projects located in the Laurel Springs, NC area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level.If you are an Iron Worker eager to master your skills alongside other accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
Interpret blueprints
Lay out & fabricate structural steel, and sheet metal
Cut & shape steel using hand, and power tools
Assemble steel girders, pipework, beams, and other components to form structural frameworks
Position, align and secure steel components to form stable
Weld beams, columns, and girders into place
Use tower cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment to put steel components into position
Work from elevated platforms, and scissor lifts
Assemble precut metal buildings, cranes, derricks, and work on reinforcing bars in concrete construction
Demo, decommission, rehabilitation of older buildings, and bridges
