POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for facilitating multiple aspects of material handling and warehousing as directed by the Service Center Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Facilitate receiving, handling, and shipping of sales, distribution, and service orders using computer-based inventory handling software
Facilitate returned goods authorization (RGA's) stocking, inventory control, picking orders (truck, pump, UPS, sales, and distribution), releasing orders, operating FedEx & UPS terminals, packing, foam packing, and unloading/loading trucks
Drive forklifts, pallet jacks, battery powered pallet jacks, and various packaging equipment
Perform and document scheduled checks of facility and inventory as directed by department senior personnel and/or supervisor
Assist with implementation and maintenance of Continuous Improvement 5S and Lean activities to improve flow and reduce waste
Confirm, follow-up, initiate and close deliveries in a timely manner
Create orders for operational supplies and consumables as well as confirm, follow-up and maintain orders
Participate in cycle counts
Facilitate above processes and procedures while maintaining measurable and productive output
Drive company truck to pick and deliver customer pumps and or parts

Required Experience:
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 2 plus years of Warehouse experience: Required
Manufacturing environment experience: Preferred
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software with emphasis on computer-based inventory management systems (Systems Applications and Products (SAP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or similar software): Preferred
Certifications & Licenses:
Required to maintain material handling certification throughout employment (i.e. forklift operators certificate)
Valid driver's license must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards
