Job Description:
Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to assure the safety of patients, personnel, visitors, and the community. Responsibilities include compiling, analyzing, and disseminating infection prevention data, reviewing and recommending changes in practice when indicated, and providing education consistent with best practice standards and requirements of regulatory agencies, e.g., TJC, OSHA, and the goals and mission of Essentia.

Bachelor's degree in nursing or other healthcare related field required.
CIC certification is required within 2 years of hire.
Work Experience:Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a patient care setting (prefer inpatient/hospital setting), medical lab, public health, infection prevention, or closely related field.
