Job Description:

Is responsible for the performance of all aspects of sleep disorder testing performed on pediatrics through adults. Responsibilities include: patient screening and scheduling by phone, performing polysomnograms, performing patient education during and after patient admission, participating in case review and treatment plans with physicians, and arranging the prescribed patient home therapy. Work Experience: Central Market: 6 months of direct patient care experience or one year of post-secondary education.

Education Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited respiratory care / respiratory therapy program.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist with current RCP state licensure or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician with current RCP state licensure.Board Registered Polysomnography Technologist within eighteen (18) months of hire. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification.Eligible for registry with National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Registered with the State of Minnesota.
