Job Description:
Do you have the career opportunities you want in your current role? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Essentia Health as a Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist I! In this role you will get to: Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients ages 13 years old and older referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, and other programs associated with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Services. Is also involved in the ongoing development of these programs.
Education Qualifications:
Work Experience:East Market:6 months experience in cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation or Successful completion of a cardiac rehabilitation internship of at least 400 hours.
Meets Core Competencies as defined by AACVPR for Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist.
West and Central Markets:No experience to note.
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or health care related field.
BLS certification within 1 month of hire.ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.ACSM Certification -ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist or certification eligible and must obtain within 6 months of hire or a current RN license in MN.
