Job Description:
Under direct supervision, assists with selected routine and technical aspects of nursing care to patients of all ages. Works within job scope to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Assists with maintaining a physical environment which promotes healing.
Education Qualifications:
Must be able to commit to 32- 40 hours/week for 10 week duration of the internship; night, day, and weekend shifts. Schedules based on preceptors schedule.
Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in accredited school of nursing or a nursing program approved by the state board of nursing in the state the internship will occur.
Completion of junior year of a Bachelor's in Nursing program and enrolled in a nursing co-operative type course come time of internship.
Minimum grade point average of 3.0

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire.
West Market:ND requirement only: In North Dakota the student must have completed course work related to the department where the internship hours will be worked.
