As Director, Learning & Development, your essential job functions include the following:

The Director of Learning & Development will lead Dent Wizard's Learning and Development strategy and team. This leader will play a critical role in ensuring we have the right talent with the right skills and capabilities to meet aggressive growth goals . By partnering with business leaders across the organization, this team will provide high-impact, practical, and scalable learning and change solutions that accelerate professional growth and help Dent Wizard be the employer of choice in the auto reconditioning industry. Build Enterprise Learning Strateg ies :

  • Partner with business leaders to implement practical learning and development strategies that anticipate and build the people capabilities needed to achieve Dent Wizard's aggressive growth goals

  • Utilize modern adult learning theory to build role-specific , high impact learning experiences that focus on moments that matter and tailored learning journeys

  • Design and implement knowledge and skills assessments and inventories for critical roles

  • Manage relevant, current and practical learning libraries that are customized based on role, discipline and individual needs

  • Establish scalable experiences and tools that build learning agility and a continuous learning culture

    Provide World-class Technical Training:

  • Lead the training and development strategy for continuing to build world class Dent Wizard Technicians across the U.S. and Canada, including Paintless Dent Repair, Paint, Wheel, Interior, Key and Detail technicians

  • Partner with leaders to build learning solutions that scale at the enterprise, region and local lev e ls

  • Optimize the use of multiple learning modes and technologies to assess, develop , engage and retain technician talent on a more real-time basis

    Enable Business Change and Leadership Development Initiatives:

  • Establish trusted partnerships with business leaders throughout the organization, employing learning science to strategize, plan, and deliver learning and change management experiences that positively change behavior

  • Be a thought leader and sought-after consultant in learning design and production for highly complex, multi-year, multi-role curriculum efforts

  • Design and facilitate learning experiences that build leadership capability and effectiveness

  • Design innovative learning solutions and curriculum, using modern learning technologies, to address the most complex business problems, increase adoption and achieve desired business results

    Lead the Learning Team:

  • L ead a team of learning designers and facilitators who create high impact experiences at scale , including technical, leadership, professional, and significant change solutions

  • I nspire, coach and develop team members to grow their careers

  • Stay current with industry trends and leverage new and innovative learning technologies and approaches to take our learning experiences to the next level

  • Engage and negotiate with vendors and learning partners as needed to augment team capacity and capability

  • Proactively m onitor cost, quality , speed and impact measures of learning solutions

    Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Experience accepted in lieu of advanced degree.

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience leading a team in the creation and implementation of learning and human performance initiatives from initial ideation through delivery, resulting in demonstrable impact to business objectives

  • Proven experience successfully leading an enterprise-wide learning strategy in a highly matrixed environment

  • Expert knowledge of Learning Sciences, Instructional Design, Modern Learning Experience Tools and Methodologies

  • Experience successfully implementing change management methodologies that positively influence behavior change and business results

  • Proven ability to establish and monitor learning and performance measures, analyzing trends to adjust learning strategy and design as needed

  • Proven expert facilitation and communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts to audiences with a variety of backgrounds

  • Applied understanding of Systems Thinking, Root Cause Analysis, and Problem-Solving Methodologies to recommend learning solutions to complex performance challenges

  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and processes in a dynamic, matrix environment with a complex map of stakeholders

  • Travel as necessary (approximately 25%)
