The Regional Human Resources Manager will lead a team of four HR professionals, supporting our distribution and warehousing function (employee populations of about 500). While most of our distribution facilities are in Sunnyvale TX, we also have facilities in other states such as California, Maryland, Florida, and Tennessee.
Counsels, coaches, and trains management on recruiting, performance management, employee relations, organization development, work environment issues, organizational change, and leadership
Advises management in resolution of employee issues and responds to employee and management inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
Identifies business needs, legal requirements and government reporting regulations and ensures policies, procedures, and programs are in compliance and administered equitably
Works with the recruiting function to source, interview, select and oversee orientation for incoming talent
Partners with the safety function to ensure all relevant trainings, policies, procedures and communications are effectively disseminated and followed
Conducts and/or coordinates organizational training initiatives as determined by the business
Administers benefit, salary and performance management programs to ensure compliance and equity within the organization
Represents company at employee hearings and investigations.
Prepares separation notices, related documentation, conducts exit interviews, and produces absenteeism/turnover reports
Manages employee activities and communications
Other duties as required
Education and Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in HR or related area, or equivalent training and experience which will provide a working knowledge of laws, regulations, practices and procedures in HR. Master's degree strongly preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), Kronos, and Success Factors knowledge preferred.
Experience:
Requires 5 or more years Human Resource Generalist experience with a minimum of 2 years of management experience. Broader experience with employment, corporate governance, litigation, and/or other regulatory matters preferred. Experience managing remotely also preferred.

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, influence and conflict management skills at all levels of the organization. Must thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects and priorities in a hands-on manner while being resourceful and innovative at tackling challenges in a timely manner. Excellent business judgment and demonstrated proficiency in organizational, analytical, conceptual, and problem solving and executive presentation skills.
