Overview: This role will work closely with Liberated Brands Sales Executives in overseeing day to day sales department needs with a focus on Opex/Capex Budget Management, Commissions review, Contract Management, Event Planning and overall planning and execution of the sales calendar. This position will support the Liberated Brands portfolio, including Volcom, Spyder, Prince Off-Court and other pending brand partnerships. They must have a passion for working independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment, taking initiative and extreme ownership are a must.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Work with cross functional finance, accounting, sales and sales operations teams to build and manage Sales Operating Expense budget process and files to support the following: Sales Executives, Sales Managers, Retail Merchandising, Sales Promotions, Sales Operations and Visual Merchandising for US, Canada and Latin America - Liberated Brands

  • Host monthly budget actualization meetings with Sales Executives and Sales Management

  • Provide FP&A teams with monthly accruals and expense allocation

  • Implement a detailed Project Management process to ensure all key deliverables in Sales and Merchandising Calendars are met, identify key stakeholders and detail process to project completion for multiple brands.

  • Compile Monthly sales reporting for Sales Executive team, including Monthly Business Review Decks and others as needed.

  • Sample Coordination

  • Drive Sample Process for wholesale channel by working closely with Merchandising and Sales Operations Team to project, and receive seasonal samples efficiently

  • Apparel, Swim, Footwear, Accessories and Outerwear

  • Assist with Catalog Shoot Line and Showroom Line Coordination

  • Receive, and Oversee Prep of Showroom Samples

  • Manage Sample storage area including seasonal sample shifts, movement of goods to warehouse

  • Manage shipping and receiving samples to and from Key Accounts and Reps for photo shoot and line showing needs

  • North America, Latin America Sales Reps

  • Support Independent sales reps with seasonal needs, assets, samples and sell in programs

  • Compile and update sales rep information for shipping, commissions

  • Special Projects as needed:

  • Liaison between departments and/or partners for projects as needed

  • Key Event Planning, Sales Ambassador Gifting

  • Manage Technology and Hardgoods for digital sales tools: iPads, Elastic Suite Uploads

  • Plan and organize in person and virtual sales meetings, web calls and trade shows

  • Hotel and Venue Negotiation and Liaison

  • Travel Bookings

  • Budget Management

  • Meals and Entertainment Management

  • Provide timely departmental correspondence for any general / key issues

  • Coordinate Logistics for the sales team including: Flights, hotels dinners for tradeshows, sales meetings, retailer events, sample shipments etc.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university preferred

  • 3+ years of experience supporting executive level management

  • Prior sales experience a plus

  • Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

  • Individual should have the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Prior accounting experience is a plus

  • Computer Skills

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel including advance macros, pivot and power pivot, and ability to merge several different reporting outputs into a singular and useable document

  • Strong in MS Word, Outlook

  • Must have Experience with Full Circle Software

  • Elastic Suite
