The Drug and Alcohol Program Specialist (Subject Matter Expert) is responsible for administering and ensuring compliance for the company's and client drug and alcohol programs. This position will coordinate and advise stakeholders on regulated and non-regulated drug and alcohol laws, policies, and procedures. The Drug and Alcohol Specialist will serve as the Designated Employer Representative (DER) to act upon unsafe workplace situations defined by the federal transportation safety laws. The DER will perform other duties to administer the drug and alcohol safety program to ensure compliance and workability including Auditing adherence to policies and procedures, ensuring documentation procedures are clear, concise and adhered with, reviewing procedures and practices and recommending changes to ensure Badger D&A Program, is nimble, free of bureaucratic processes and in compliance with regulatory, Internal and external facing D & A program requirements
1-3 years of previous sales experience preferably in a business development role
Oversee the Drug and Alcohol (DA) programs to ensure Badger meets regulatory requirements for Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FCMSA), Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA), and Clients non-regulatory testing.
Instruct stakeholders on the Drug and Alcohol Program practices and procedures to ensure compliance.
Works collaboratively in a team environment to meet internal departmental and Company strategic goals
1-3 years of previous sales experience preferably in a business development role
Associate degree In Public Health Administration or related field.
3 years' experience in Public Health Administration or equivalent field (e.g., experience with DOT-regulated drug and alcohol testing programs).
