Description
SAIC is seeking a Model Based Senior Systems Engineer (MBSE) for an exciting and innovative Cloud One program. The Senior MBSE will be developing, implementing, and understanding modeling and simulation needs of C1 customers as a function of the systems engineering and mission engineering processes across the DoD mission domain (air, space, land, sea, and cyberspace domains). The role is multidisciplinary in nature thus the Systems Engineers on this team use Model-based Systems Engineering approach to understanding Concept Definition, CONOPS development, requirements definition and allocation, system and product definition, component (HW and SW) design and implementation, integration & test, verification, validation, and operations and sustainment.
This position is hybrid remote. Candidates may be required to work onsite as needed. Therefore candidates should be located near Gunter AFB (Montgomery, AL), Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA), or Andrews AFB (MD).

Elicitation and specification of modeling functional requirements, decomposition and traceability of those requirements
Synthesize and extend architectures and ability to understand different mission domain modeling to include the allocationof the target system functionality to its components
Definition of interfaces, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
Applying modern model-based systems engineering approaches that make extensive use of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) skills
Integrate M&S analysis models with descriptive models
Track task schedules and levels of effort needed to meet program goals and timeline
Provide briefing for technical/modeling capabilities and analyses with internal stakeholders and external customers
