Responsibilities:
The SharePoint Engineer will be working with a small team of professionals to manage an on-premises SharePoint farm which supports an active customer base.
The Engineer will be tasked with identifying requirements by working side-by-side with end users, and develop customized tailored solutions for unique problem sets utilizing workflows, page customizations, content/knowledge management, and other SharePoint applications.
Additionally, the SharePoint Engineer will support the general maintenance, patching, and administration of the environment, to include providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance on software application related issues.
Collaborate with the customer and other mission groups to develop site usage reports and disk quota management.
Perform installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft SharePoint Web application platform within a small engineering team, and develop documentation to support.
Along with the rest of the staff, there is also an expectation of general user support for our customer to include basic troubleshooting, physical workstation support, and user account administration support.

Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions to various levels of coworkers and stakeholders.
Experience working within ticketing systems (i.e. Jira, ServiceNow, etc.)
Experience creating technical documentation to include diagrams, both logical and physical
Experience working within a virtualized environment
Experience working with classified enterprise networks
