Amazon's Ops Tech Solutions Supply Chain (OTS-SC) plans, sources, makes and delivers IT equipment necessary to empower YoY multi-billion-dollar Amazon's Worldwide Stores Business. OTS-SC responsibilities include Product Management, Demand and Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Procurement, Warehousing, Transportation and Replacement and Disposal of IT equipment. The Product Manager will take a lead role in managing the creation, optimization, and continuous improvement of applications and tools that automate and enhance critical business processes within the OpsTech Solutions - Supply Chain (OTS-SC) team. This role will utilize data analytics and software development to drive operational excellence across Amazon's supply chain.

This position serves as a bridge between technical teams (developers, data engineers, and system architects) and business stakeholders, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals. A successful candidate must be proficient in software development, coding, and data analysis, with the capability to write SQL queries, build dashboards, and develop scalable applications to support and streamline supply chain processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and strategic initiatives that enhance supply chain operations. This position requires strong communication skills, both written and oral, particularly for executive-level reporting and stakeholder engagement. Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of applications and tools that automate and enhance critical business processes across the organization, impacting on-time in-full (OTIF) metrics.

- Write efficient code and SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and integrate data across multiple systems, such as ERP, supply chain management tools, and procurement platforms.

- Integrate applications with existing OTS-SC technologies, enhancing the scalability and functionality of supply chain processes.

- Ensure applications are user-friendly and designed with the end-user in mind, making it easy to navigate and utilize features.

- Implement feedback loops within the applications to gather user input for continuous improvement.

- Provide training resources and ongoing support to ensure users can effectively utilize the applications.

- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring successful implementation of solutions.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders, enhancing understanding and alignment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, operations, supply chain, procurement) to enhance material forecasting and process automation.

- Identify pain points in the current systems and processes, driving continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

- Own the roadmap for application development, ensuring alignment with business priorities and future growth plans.

- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to application usage, adoptability and supply chain responsiveness.

- Conduct regular business reviews to assess the performance of management tools and applications, proposing adjustments based on feedback and new requirements.

- Leverage data analytics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in supply chain management.

- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously innovate the product management process, exploring AI/ML-driven solutions to optimize demand planning and process automation.

- Foster a collaborative environment by effectively engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, automation, or software development.

  • Proficiency in coding, development, SQL and dashboards.

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Expertise in process automation and improving operational metrics (e.g., OTIF).

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and modern development frameworks.

  • Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects with measurable impact.

  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Pandas or other programming languages.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities.

  • Strong leadership and influence skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams

  • Experience with comprehending and explaining technical concepts.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
