JMT's Construction Management Team is seeking a Construction Manager for their Middlesboro, Kentucky Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Construction Inspection business in assigned region.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Responsible for marketing and business development for transportation construction projects
Manages contracts, including invoicing and financial management
Responsible for project QA/QC in the assigned region.
Maintains and builds client relationships
Prepare technical and price proposals
Hires, trains, develops, and conducts performance reviews for staff
Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities
Assists design disciplines with constructability questions/issues
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required SkillsRequired Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
10+ years of experience working in the CM/CI or engineering field
Preferred Experience
Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Construction Management
Professional Engineering license
Experience working with local clients
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
Travel required.
