As the Infrastructure Lead on SAFFIRE, you will be providing leadership and strategic vision to a team of System Administrators. The infrastructure Team maintains the backend infrastructure needed to develop and field advanced intelligence capabilities for the NGA and their mission stakeholders.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the technical implementation of the environments critical to program success. This team provides Configuration Management, Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure as Code Solutions, Asset Management and Equipment Procurement.
You will be a key member of the SAFFIRE System Teams leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government's most critical missions.
*Specific Responsibilities:*
Lead a team focused on creating and maintaining the environments required for program success.
Build and Maintain Infrastructure as Code for cloud-based services.
Procure, Build and Maintain Configuration Management for On-Prem Hardware
Procure, install, and manage software licenses
Automate development and operations processes to ensure reliability and repeatability
Provide and maintain standard operating systems environments
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional, highly collaborative environments
Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement of systems, software, and processes
Demonstrated ability to lead engineers through all stages of career development
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment within a distributed team
Current TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph
Experience with AWS Infrastructure
Information Assurance/DoD 8570 certification (like Security+)
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code concepts
Experience managing unclassified and classified development environments including workstations, servers, and GPU assets
Understanding of network configuration in cloud and on-prem environments
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies/Terminology
Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar IaC technology
AWS Certification - SysOps or DevOps
Experience procuring equipment for government contracts
Experience managing hybrid on-prem / cloud operating environments
Experience with Docker or similar container technology
Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platform

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$105,100 - 231,100 USD
